Welcome to

Celebrating 17 years of tradition and taste, Julia Bakery has been a beloved part of the Vancouver Farmers Market, bringing you freshly baked, scratch-made goods with a touch of family heritage.

Julia Bakery is a family affair. Our journey started when my father, inspired by his mother Julia—who was a talented baker herself—moved to Vancouver from Croatia and started this bakery in her honor. Today, we proudly carry on her legacy as third-generation bakers.

After studying at Clark College’s bakery program, my father honed his craft and built the foundation for what is now Julia Bakery. Four years ago, my wife Casey and I took over the bakery, continuing the tradition of crafting delicious, handmade baked goods with the same passion and care that have always defined us.

At Julia Bakery, we pride ourselves on offering a variety of freshly baked goods that keep our customers coming back. From the comforting aroma of our freshly-baked breads to the sweetness of our cinnamon rolls and sticky buns, there’s something for everyone. But we’re most known for our challah—a true fan favorite—and our scones, perfect for any time of day.

This is my absolute favorite bread!

I love it so much we had to have it for our wedding reception dinner!
